Conformability for addition/subtraction of matrices

Let we have two given matrices. These two matrices may be added or subtracted if and only if they have the same orders.

Addition of matices

Suppose matrix A and matrix B are conformable for addition. Their sum A+B is obtained by adding corresponding elements of the matrices A & B.

Subtraction of two matrices

         Let matrix A and matrix B are two matrices which are of the same order and so these are conformable for substraction. Their difference A-B is obtained by subtracting each element of B from the corresponding element of A.
